Nintendo Wii - Cooking Mama

I just got this game called Cooking Mama : Cook Off, its been around some time but i just got it.

Its really cute....it shows how to cook a real recipe albeit virtually. Here's where the Nintendo Wii really shine, the wireless wii mote is kinda cute here.

You stir. saute, chop and dice like the real thing hahahaha !

Maybe i wait for Juliette to grow up and play masak masak with me kua kua kua !

Taking care of a baby and getting even !

Sigh....as i blog this i am panda-eyed, slump over the desk, have a major headache, lights sensitive and etc.

This little bundle of joy is taking a serious toll on my health and body. Even though i cherish every moment i have with her, with her so called "innocent" look.....arghhh how can you resist la....

awwwww.....

A baby requires tremendous amount of time, energy, focus and most of all PATIENCE. I ain't superman, but i got loads of training to do if i wanna be a good dad.

Waking up every 2 to 3 hours to feed a kid can make an angel grouchy man....

Just thinking about the different type of milk powder that she wud like is another big mess....aiyo.....donno why she dowan to drink milk last nite opting for cereal instead....oii mak oii....kepala pusing la...

Worst now that she has a slight cough i am up in arms trying to feed her the cough syrup whilst she's pulling a submission hold on my arms and fingers.

Sigh......

I'd better put this all down in a buku 555 and claim from her when she grows up LOL !
Better yet, record it and them black mail her when she is old enuff hahahahahah !

Hey don't look at me like that i did say i'm not goody two shoe like Superman rite? heheh :P

Now...off to plan a devious scheme to black mail my dotter when she is older hiak hiak hiak !

I've been actively blogging and socializing online and suddenly i realized what the heck is going on? I mean how come everyone is relying on the net to socialize these days? Its the in thing these days so say the young uns of today.

What ever happened to the meet outside concept....i mean i met alot of friends on IRC long long ago and they have since transferred in to real friends on the out side world. But i also socialize out side of the net once in a while....or at least i think that i did....hahahaha

So how come people are so caught up with facebook, hi5, multiply, friendsters and so on?

I realized that i started even playing the games in facebook for gawd's sake....this is bad....i need to go get a better hobby then spend the time fighting vampires and rabid werevolves online......

Everything is cyber and virtual these days....who is real who's not? Bloated and Inflated profiles to impress and brag....whats sup la.....

What can i say.....

A close friend just got out of a relationship which was kind of bitter yet contains memories that he would cherish through out his life.

According to him, he'd be able to see things from the opp. sex point of view. However, he'd miss the time spent being in a couple for some time. It was his first relationship.

You see, he was engaged to his girlfriend for a short while when suddenly there were some misunderstandings...

He was ready to settle while she was not....different expectations i guess. Now my friend is a very straight guy and is quite a family oriented guy (IMHO). I'd say his parents would have a say in almost what goes on in his life.

Something happened and now both the girl and his parents are not on talking terms and both feel insulted.

PAUSE, Rewind a bit, now how come the parents got involved in this stage? I dunno....i had a word with my friend and it seems, somewhere along the line his parents went to discuss certain things. My tots on this were, how come?

You're a man, do it your self? Ah....but what the heck ! It's done for, the engagement is over, the ring is to be returned and now both of them are mending their wounds.

Both of parties, had their parents involved too early into the stage of the relationship in my opinion, i mean i ain't saying that i am better than him. I mean things have got to be diplomatic to a certain stage, since I AM GETTING MARRIED and not my parents.

I know its a package but what the heck man....respect the ones who are getting hitched. Suddenly i am pissed because just becoz of some ego, my pal isn't getting married. The gal has become a bit distant and life moves on.....

My friend should have known better, but he is now recovering and looking at the brighter side of life i guess. Things like this can drain you.....such a simple misunderstanding can cost a relationship to be destroyed just like that....

Sigh....i feel sorry for my friend since its such a waste....they seem like a great couple.
There's nothing i can do except encourage him to go out more and meet new ppl. There's a lot of fish in the sea my friend. (If you're reading this....U CAN DO IT MY MAN !)

Dinner ar Bakerzin with Sis

Howdy ho...

We had dinner (more like a supper binge) at Bakerzin in Bangsar Village last Saturday nite. It was a great weekend since my sister was not feeling well and we (Jasmin) tot that Juliette cud cheer her up a bit.

We took a walk around Bangsar Village and went to Village Grocer, i bought a candy cane stick for Juliette and she proceeded to smash it to bits in Bakerzin later.....aiyo....RM 2.80 each u know...mahal la...wei...

It turned out that all of our tummies were cheered up instead heheh.... Sis had Pasta with Bacon and Ham, I had Seafood Curry Soup and Jasmin had Chicken Salad.

At the end of it all we had Apple Pie and some Chocalate Mouse Cake i think, and for drinks we had Wild Green Tea, Marigold Tea and Chocalate Latte for sis i think....blur due to the good food hehehe... (thanks for dinner sis...)

My dotter decided to stand up last week and made me had a near heart attack.

Indonesia Trip

I went to Indonesia, Jakarta to be precise, last week. It was a business trip to meet our partners over there. The air there was horrible....lots of haze....came back with a huge cough and it hasn't let up since. I feel horrible and under weather today as i type this out.

I stayed at Sunlake Hotel and the rooms were huge....since the boss knew the manager we were given a special treat also :)


We met with some people in Jakarta....the restaurant i think was owned by a local chinese. Food was ok and not that bad....service and decor was lacking a bit though. Loads of flies hehehe !






Later i went and got some goodies in a mall called Artha Gading in Jakarta. Look at the picture and you can see the sky is horrid. Not a single cloud in the sky. Anyways, i got me a Reebok Pump Showstopper.

You know as a kid, the Reebok Pump was released in the end of the 80s and it was the bomb man ! But it was horridly expensive too. When i went to Jakarta 3 years back i had a ball of a time buying shoes, since they were made there for modular corporations, we got them nearly half the price off.

So this time was no exception, i scouted and i found the Reebok Pump Showstopper. Man....it was a sweet deal coming in at RM 150.00 it was a bargain. I bought it immediately and looked like an elephant with the pump on....hahahaha






According to my boss, J.Co is one of the best donuts but still pale in comparison to Krispy Kreme. There is a J.Co in Pavillion i heard.


Beard Papa Puff, it wasn't as nice as KL ones, since them puffs were crispy and hard. :)

Anyways.....if it was me....i ain't planning to stay in Indonesia at all....traffic is crappy, chinese food is so so, people are ok, but life overall is not good over there. The rich get richer and the poor get even worse.

Sigh....Malaysia is still the best !

Friday Errand....

Pak Li Kopitiam - 9.00 AM

I went there with the missus last Friday before doing our errands....

We ordered drinks and food and they got them all wrong. The menu said 15 Minutes for Hokkien Mee (if we ordered it) but we just ordered Mee Udang and Curry Laksa Katong and waited close to 20 Minutes....

Man....this is bad....at least we discovered the Ikea baby seat which i think is excellent and easy to use.

Juliette looked like she had fun though :)







Later in the afternoon we were at Taman Tun Dr Ismail and we decided to try out La Manila since we were hungry.

Food was large in portion and not bad i guess....here are some pictures to entice you !
