Jalan Chan Sow Lin

Jasmin accidentally scratched on the of the car's rear door and i decided to send it in to my regular workshop mechanic Ah Foo in Jalan Chan Sow Lin.

We needed a lift back to Shah Alam from Jasmin's older brother Christy too, so we decided to eat at the Fish Restaurant under the tree near the workshop.

The last time i introduced my mechanic to my brother-in-law he was happy with the results, and we adjourned to the fish shop after that. His verdict was superb. So here we are again at the restaurant. We were there at 10:30 am and they were ready to receive customers then. So remember the time, they only serve lunch and we were the first customer to be there then. Yummy and lucky.

As you can see its a cosy small establishment built around an old tree trunk which still stands tall.

I proceeded to order 3 different types of fish to savour and 1 to take away. We also had 6 pcs of Yong Tau Foo, and another 6 to take away for my mom.

Hong Siew (Roasted Pork, Tau Pok, Cuttle Fish and loads of gravy and fried fish head) Woot!

Ginger Fish Head and Taucu Chilli Padi Fish Head Arghh ! More More More !!!

DEVASTATION !

The fishes as we went to scout in the kitchen area was soaked in water with loads of lime, i guess to kill the "fishy" or sea smell. The fishes were very fresh and succulent to the taste.....hits me everytime and i was so happy heheheh so was Christy, my wife cannot finish her rice and was complaining that we over ordered, much to the amusement of me and Christy since we "wallopped" the rest happily heheheh !

After that i "tar pau-ed" a Hong Siew fish for me mom to savour as she is a fish fan too. Dad was still in Dubai so his loss....LOL

She was surprised with the size and i told her to forego the rice and just take the fish hahahaha boy was she a happy little bunny !

Their packing was professionally doen and all sauces were seperated and lovely ! The total damaged for 4 fish head, 12 pcs of Yong Tau Foo, 4 cups of chinese tea and 3 plates of rice and loads of satisfaction ? RM 90.00 ONLY ! WOOOT !
